The Organizing Committee of the MontenegroSport Scientific Conference 2026 is pleased to announce the final extension of the abstract submission deadline.
Following the outstanding international interest in this year’s conference and numerous requests from researchers, academics, and professionals worldwide, colleagues now have until 24 August 2026 (inclusive) to complete their registration and submit their abstracts.
This represents the final opportunity to become part of one of the leading international scientific gatherings in the fields of sport science, sports medicine, health, and human performance.

An International Scientific Meeting
The MontenegroSport Scientific Conference 2026 will take place in Podgorica, Montenegro, from 24–27 September 2026, with the official scientific programme scheduled for 25–26 September 2026.
Held under the main theme:
SPORT SCIENCE, MEDICINE & HEALTH – INNOVATIONS, ACHIEVEMENTS, SYNERGY AND CHALLENGES
the conference will bring together researchers, academics, physicians, healthcare professionals, sport scientists, coaches, practitioners, and students from around the world.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Attend plenary lectures delivered by internationally recognized experts;
- Present original scientific research through oral and e-poster presentations;
- Participate in professional workshops and panel discussions;
- Establish new international collaborations;
- Network with colleagues from a wide range of scientific disciplines.
All accepted abstracts will be published in a special conference edition of the Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and Medicine (MJSSM), ensuring international visibility for presented research.
The conference has also been officially included in the European College of Sport Science (ECSS) Conference Calendar, further confirming its growing international recognition.
Important Information About Conference Accommodation
To provide participants with additional time to organize their travel, the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that, following our request, the conference hotel has agreed to extend the exclusive conference accommodation rates until 10 August 2026 (inclusive).
The special conference prices are available exclusively to registered conference participants.
It is important to note that the hotel’s current standard rate for the same room category is €175 per night, meaning that the negotiated conference rates represent a significant saving.
As the number of rooms allocated for conference participants is limited, reservations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
After 10 August 2026, even if rooms remain available, the Organizing Committee will unfortunately no longer be able to guarantee the exclusive promotional conference rates negotiated for participants. Any bookings made after this date will be subject to the hotel’s standard prices and availability.
Participants are therefore strongly encouraged to reserve their accommodation as soon as possible in order to secure the preferential conference rates and enjoy the convenience of staying at the official conference venue, where the scientific programme, networking activities, and accompanying events will take place.
